The Anderson Ranch pre-tournament meeting Friday will be at 7:00 pm at Deer Creek Ramp. Blast off will be at Curlew Ramp. Weigh in will be at Deer Creek Ramp at 4:00 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. Saturday; 3:00 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Thanks to Dave Durfey and George Edes, we will have a BBQ and potluck Saturday after weigh-in at Deer Creek Ramp. Please bring side dishes, salads, desserts! It should be a beautiful weekend!

Call her for information regarding rooms, restaurants, gas, power hookups, saloon!, camp sites and questions. Melanie said that Nester's Hotel had large rooms (sleeping up to 8 people) if still available. The Nitz Store is close by for gas, ice, etc.

There will be a potluck BBQ at the Owyhee tournament on Owyhee. Dave Durfey is bringing the meat for the BBQ and everyone needs to bring their favorite potluck item to go with it. The potluck will be after the weigh-in on Saturday May 29.
The public comment period for the Lake Lowell Improvement Plan has begun and is open until June 4. The Refuge's goal is to: "restore the lake to conditions supporting its beneficial uses: aesthetics, primary contact recreation, and warm water aquatic life." This may or may not affect boating and bass tournaments, so everyone needs to let the DEQ and USFWS know that we want to see boating and fishing continue on Lake Lowell.
How to Comment: Residents are encourage to send written comments by June 4 to Lauri Monnot, DEQ Boise Regional Office, 1445 N. Orchard, Boise, ID 83706; by FAX to 373-0550; or by e-mail to lauri.monnot@deq.idaho.gov.
